Boutique Design New York to Feature Networking Spaces by BBG-BBGM and King & Grove Hotels

Oct. 19, 2012
BDNY to Run Alongside International Hotel, Motel + Restaurant Show® (IHMRS) at Jacob K. Javits Center, NYC.

NEW YORK CITY--Extraordinary spaces designed by BBG-BBGM and King & Grove Hotels will inspire attendees of the 3rd annual Boutique Design New York (BDNY), taking place November 11-12, 2012 at New York City’s Jacob K. Javits Convention Center. The two spaces, both designed with networking in mind, will offer more than 5,000 attending interior designers, architects and purchasing executives an opportunity to connect outside the busy aisles and booths.

Overlooking the exhibit floor, internationally-renowned architecture and interior design firm BBG-BBGM has created a networking space reminiscent of the urban setting of this leading hospitality interiors fair. The industrial lounge celebrates design from emerging artists to the established fine arts, and elevates the gritty elements of New York City with refined products at the forefront of design.

Situated in the Javits Center lobby, the King & Grove Hotels “Designer Lounge” will offer attendees a place to relax, network and socialize during the two-day show. Inspired by Ruschmeyer’s Hotel Kitchen & Bar property in Montauk, Long Island, the Lounge reflects the casual and fun-loving atmosphere that is Ruschmeyers and provides imagery of King & Grove’s four primary markets in Montauk, Miami Beach, Brooklyn, and New York City.

“These unique spaces will offer attendees an opportunity to see the latest design-driven products in a live setting,” says Michael Schneider, publisher of hospitality products for ST Media Group. “BBG-BBGM and King & Grove Hotels will each present exceptional – yet very different – spaces complementing the incredible exhibitor product mix at BDNY 2012.”

Visuals of both spaces can be found online at www.bdny.com, in addition to complete show details such as exhibiting companies, seminar details, events, and registration. Attendee registration is $50 per person and includes admission to the adjacent International Hotel, Motel + Restaurant Show® (IHMRS).

BDNY will run Sunday, November 11, and Monday, November 12, 2012, featuring more than 250 manufacturers of high-end, unique and innovative design products for hospitality, including furniture, lighting, wall coverings, fabric, seating, accessories, artwork, carpet and flooring, materials, bath and spa. The 97th annual IHMRS will run Saturday, November 10, through Tuesday, November 13, 2012, at New York City’s Jacob K. Javits Convention Center. Following a full day of conference and networking activities on Saturday, November 10, the IHMRS will feature three full days of exhibits from Sunday, November 11, through Tuesday, November 13.
