The editorial team from i+s had an absolutely stellar time at Chicago Design Week, visiting with many interior product vendors demonstrating their attention to form and function.
Whether at The MART for NeoCon 2025 or hitting the streets in Fulton Market for Design Days showrooms and pop-ups, i+s saw some extraordinary examples of commercial interior products designed with purpose. In-person chats spanned a multitude of topics, including manufacturers' insights on product and color trends based on their customers' design needs and requests.

Lauren Brant is the editor at both i+s and Buildings. She is an award-winning editor and reporter whose work appeared in daily and weekly newspapers. In 2020, the weekly newspaper won the Rhoades Family Weekly Print Sweepstakes—the division winner across the state's weekly newspapers. Lauren was also awarded the top feature photo across Class A papers. She holds a B.A. in journalism and media communications from Colorado State University-Fort Collins and a M.S. in organizational management from Chadron State College.
