HG Arts announces that it has been selected to provide comprehensive art consulting services for the renovation of the second tower of the historic Fairmont Dallas Hotel, based on its successful completion of the first tower in November of 2012.
The luxury facility includes 545-guestrooms and suites in two towers and 70,000 square feet of meeting space. The estimated cost of the entire interior renovation is $9 million and is slated for completion in the summer of 2013. Opened in 1969 as the first luxury hotel in Texas, the property exudes an air of elegance and luxury, combined with a dash of Texas flair.
The project was awarded to HG Arts by Flick Mars, a world-renowned designer of domestic and international hospitality and leisure projects based in Dallas, Texas. The design firm has provided design services for clients such as Hyatt Hotels and Resorts, Starwood Hotels and Resorts, Hilton Hotels and Resorts and Four Seasons Hotels and Resorts.
The scope of HG’s services as providers of turnkey art solutions for both towers includes approximately 2,700 pieces of art and mirrors for the guestrooms, corridors and the Pyramid Bar and Restaurant. The comprehensive art program features a mixed media focal point for the bar/lounge printed on metal and plexiglass, and is layered at varying dimensions to create a three-dimensional effect.
