NEW YORK -- On Sept. 19, Interiors & Sources hosted a CEU like no other. Worth .2 IDCEC-approved credits, this exclusive, invitation-only event, took designers on a luxury bus tour of some of the most high-end, unique hotel spaces New York City has to offer.
The group began the day at the W New York, then made its way over to neighboring Lexington NYC, led by designer David Ashen of dash design. The second stop was the eclectic OUT NYC, where architect Paul Dominguez walked everyone through its corridor of featured art and various courtyards available to guests. Then it was off to the Nomad hotel where Stonehill & Taylor Interiors Associate Sara Duffy talked them through the latest hospitality trends in New York City over a luncheon presentation on the Nomad's incredible outdoor rooftop terrace. The final hotel stop for the day was the West side's Yotel, where the Rockwell Group's Catherine Yatrakis showed the group the space's original design concept based off an airport check-in.
The day ended with some hors d'oeuvres and cocktails at the Duravit showroom, one of our generous sponsors!
