1. Introduced at Euroluce, the Goldman lamp, designed by Ron Gilad for Flos, meshes the vintage aesthetic of banker’s lamps with contemporary technology and slick lines. Available in black and chrome or the more traditional green and gold, Gilad’s take on the design incorporates LEDs in the head and a USB plugin at the base for charging electronics.

2. Bringing the beauty and wonder of the natural world indoors, Nia by Leucos is reminiscent of hanging leaves or the soft curve of a conch lying on the beach. Each handmade cast glass element can be hung individually, allowing for customizable installation.

3. Released this year by Joan Gaspar for Marset, the Ginger XL floor lamp is part of the wider Ginger collection, which includes table, wall, and pendant designs. Created by pressing wood and paper into a thin laminate, the lamp’s head appears nearly flat. The height of the lamp can be changed by adjusting the easily movable arm.

4. Perfect for outdoor ambient illumination, the Tree collection—designed by Pete Sans for Vibia—blends nature with modern lines to create stunning, oversized lights that simultaneously blend in and stand out in a garden, pool, or back patio.

5. The soft-touch body of Poppin’s Limber Lamp allows you to bend the frame along two fully adjustable flex points to use however you’d like. The 48 LEDs in the head are rated to last 50,000 hours, and allow the lacquer-like head to stay touchably cool. Limber comes in 4 colors and can be plugged into the wall or computer’s USB connector with a second USB spot in the base to charge electronics.

6. Using state-of-the-art flush mounted LED lights, Pablo Designs’ Contour Collection features a unique open frame which allows for an almost unobstructed range for illumination, and the bottom becomes a resting space for electronics using the lamp’s USB charging port. Contour comes as either a table or floor lamp, and can be finished with wood or fabric along the interior, and in a white or graphite exterior. Available
in late October.

7. Recently named a Pinnacle Award finalist in Lighting, the Nostalgia Collection, made by designer Dima Loginoff for Studio Italia Design, marries retro forms with LED technology. Available in three unique shapes in four colors—crystal, chrome, gold, and rose gold—the Nostalgia Collection is easily customizable for large installations. Each of the glass pendants is hand-blown, giving the collection a warm, artisan feeling.

8. The Lucellino—a play on words from the Italian for “light” (luce) and “little bird” (uccellino)—by Ingo Maurer is a flight of fantasy embodied. Now available with LEDs, this whimsical table lamp is a surprising focal point, stirring up conversation and wonder.
