The 2024 Spring Tradeshows Preview: HD Expo and Salone del Mobile

From Las Vegas to Milan, here are some products we can't wait for you to feast your eyes on.

Preparations continue as exhibitors finalize showrooms and booths for the upcoming spring season. Here’s a look at some of the products that will be on display at Salone del Mobile.Milano, April 16-21, and HD Expo + Conference, April 30-May 2.

HD Expo

Located at Mandalay Bay in Las Vegas, the HD Expo + Conference is the largest, single destination for hospitality product discovery in America. This year's show will include more than 500 suppliers across more than 25 product categories. 

Textiles & Fabrics

Chromatix Hue

Chromatix Hue’s Speed Bump is an upholstery fabric inspired by life’s necessary deceleration. The wool blend fabric (45% wool, 30% cotton, 15% polyester, and 10% acrylic) has a textured weave with raised bumps to create a visual and tactile effect. Speed Bump has a durability of 100,000+ double rubs and is made from recycled woolen knitwear. The color palette spans neutral to vibrant hues.

LebaTex, in collaboration with Seaqual Initiative—a pioneering force in marine litter recovery—will introduce its sustainable Tidal collection at HD Expo. The collection is a curated ensemble of upholstery fabrics with each thread supporting ocean conservation. Made from Seaqual Yarn, the six designs highlight the depths and beauty of the ocean and its marine life. Seaqual Yarn is made from marine plastic sourced from beaches, oceans, rivers and estuaries.

Shaw Contract Hospitality

Shaw Contract Hospitality's ROAM | Arctic Escape collection was influenced by the frost-covered and icy landscapes with designs that reflect cold temperatures, arctic geography and tundra flora. ROAM | Arctic Escape has 12 patterns in all area rugs and custom broadloom, with axminster, tailor tuft, colorpoint and multituft construction. Colors span the cool blue spectrum. Each style is customizable and has carpet-to-fit capabilities for any space.

Outdoor Furniture


The Sid collection of outdoor furniture, distributed by emuamericas, combines the warmth and beauty of a traditional wood aesthetic with aluminum’s industrial strength and modernity. The collection includes benches, community tables, counter tables, bar tables, side tables, bar tops, armchairs, side chairs, a picnic table and a cluster seating table. Various aluminum finishes and wood visuals for specification, including an all-weather wicker option, are available. Depending on the application, Sid styles are suitable for both outdoor and indoor use. The aluminum frame offers commercial-grade durability and corrosion resistance.

KFi Studios’ Juna collection is a modern and fun take on outdoor furniture to get you into the fresh air. Built to withstand the elements, the extensive outdoor collection has dining chairs and tables, a lounge chair, picnic tables, privacy screens, planters, and accessories to customize your outdoor space. Designed to be relaxed and easygoing, Juna’s aesthetic is based on soft, rounded shapes to give the collection a playful, minimal look.

Room&Board's Parsons outdoor counter table features styles with or without space for counter stools and a two-drawer fridge. The bases are made from outdoor-grade steel and solid stone tops. The Parsons outdoor counter table comes in two sizes 60 in. W x 38 in. D x 35 in. H or 72 in. W x 38 in. D x 35 in. H. Multiple finish options for the top, base and refrigerator. Infinity Drain + Gensler

The Adhesion linear drain by Infinity Drain and Gensler is inspired by how water sticks to surfaces, creating a pattern of irregularity and precision. Part of Infinity Drain’s patented site sizable and fixed-length linear drain series, it comes in various lengths, ten finishes and optional factory-applied Schluter-KERDI. Made from stainless steel and compatible with waterproofing methods: PVC/Vinyl liner, lead/copper pan, hop mop, rubber liner and fiberglass.

The Piccolo cordless table lamp by Neoz comes in gold, bronze or silver brushed stainless steel. Making its U.S. debut at HD Expo, Piccolo offers portable sidelight and downlight in a 6 in. H and 3.5 in. D structure that weighs 0.66 lb. It offers a 2600k color temperature with three dim settings for 17.5+ hours of battery, which recharges in 3.5 hours. The LED lamp is water-resistant and protected against rainfall.

The NuFelt Acoustic Emboss collection by Momentum Textiles & Wallcoverings is a rolled acoustic in various patterns. NuFelt Langley features a classic basketweave motif and is the latest addition to N_FELT's embossed offerings. Made of 100% recycled polyester with a fused polyester backing, it comes in nine curated colorways or any NUFELT color. NuFelt Langley weighs 1.5 lbs., is 63 in. W and 1/8 in. thick, with a 1/4 in. V x 3/4 in. H repeat. Bleach cleanable and NRC 0.15.

Debuting at HD Expo, the El Muro exhibition, designed by seven artists of Mexican descent, explores identity, culture and heritage issues. Artist Blanka Amezkua’s pattern "Echoes of the Codex de la Cruz-Badiano: A Floating Tapestry of Indigenous Medicinal Wisdom" preserves the knowledge of indigenous peoples related to medicinal plants and their uses. The pattern was inspired by illustrations in the book “The Codex de la Cruz-Badiano.” El Muro will join the digital Curated Collection, available for printing on Wolf-Gordon’s multiple materials, including a PVC-free wallcovering.

Developed in collaboration with A&T Design, Aceray's Mira seating collection combines modern design with artisanal craftsmanship, resulting in visually striking pieces with clean lines. Each item is handcrafted and features braided rope backs that soften its angles, creating a unique seating option for any hospitality space. With an array of inspired options for upholstery and wood stain, Mira's armchairs, stacking chairs, barstools and counter stools offer an eye-catching, organic touch to hospitality interiors.

Antique bronze finishes, coupled with a substantial marble base make this table lamp perfect for a high-end nightstand or desk, and brass rotary switches at the base allow guests to find the desired brightness level. Salone del Mobile

The 62nd edition of Salone del Mobile.Milano will bring together almost 1,900 exhibitors, including 600 young talents under 35 and 22 design schools. 



Dancalia, designed by Abreham Brioschi for Nodus is a rug in wool, hand-knotted and hand-sculpted in Nepal. Using a Tibetan knot, the rug has 100 knots per square inch to create a 250 cm diameter with a 10 to 20 mm pile height. Dancalia was inspired by the "Land of Fire" or Danakil Depression, an arid expanse of salt with volcanoes and sulfurous geysers painted with green/yellow, blue/cobalt and orange/red.

Kitchen & Bath


GRAFF’s Wellness Sanctuary Collections, designed by Davide Oppizzi, embraces natural elements to create a space that honors nature, water and wellbeing. Unveiling at Salone, the new collection will include a modern rainforest-inspired shower, among other new designs. The booth’s ambiance offers an escape into nature.

Lasvit’s Re/Creation presentation features a monumental outdoor fused glass installation. Also debuting are the Nebula collection, a Bois de Cristal installation and the Neverending Glory collection with a special, limited-edition pendant. The Nebula collection pieces have diffusing glass lenses that transmit light upwards to a mirror-like, metalized crystal glass reflector to a clear glass body, anchored by a sculptural, metalized base. Metal finishes come in silver, gold and rose gold with two sizes of table lamps and a ceiling lamp variant. Bois de Cristal uses folded plywood and copper layers to create a light effect through a custom LED module with textured clear glass. Neverending Glory includes the La Scala pendant, with clear, smoke, or opal finishes in three sizes.

Outdoor Furniture


The Aqua sunbed can stay outside and inside the water, up to a 15 cm water level. Designed by Marc Sadler for Serralunga, the Aqua lounger is filled from two caps for stability in water. Made from linear low-density polyethylene, it is all-weather resistant, UV-protected, 100% recyclable and solution-dyed. Available in numerous colors. Pair with the Aqua-Plano side table and the Aqua Riser for use in pools up to 20 cm deep. Aqua: 61.81 in. L, 27.56 in. W, 20.28 in. H and weighs 28.6 lbs. Aqua-Plano: 17.7 in. L x 17.7 in. W x 15.7 in. H and weighs 6.6 lbs.

New outdoor proposals by YAAZ, the young Turkish brand of outdoor and indoor living, will be on display at Salone. The booth designed by creative directors at AngelettiRuzza Design evokes the natural and tranquil atmospheres of the outdoor spaces of an eco-friendly wooden house nestled in greenery.

Pavilion 03-F22


Fred One-Seater is a wooden chair designed by Bob Verhelst as part of the Sculptural Confluence Part 1 collection for Serax. The modern seat features a tight, monolithic basic shape with recurring cut-outs. Various wood colors are available. Add a polyurethane foam cushion created from Belgian fabrics in subtle contrasting colors to complete the piece. Fred One-Seater is 28.34 in. L x 27.55 in. W x 25.19 in. H and has a massive wooden frame and triplex layer.

Ethnicraft is debuting the Stairs Rack in varnished teak brown, designed by Alain van Havre, an angular composition forms the heart of a design that aims to distance itself from traditional static and immobile surfaces. By perfectly aligning multiple angles, a unique sense of volume is created. When we then add light to the equation, the multifaceted oak canvas creates even more depth by casting shadows.

Ligne Roset

Making it's debut at Salone, the Pierre Guariche collection features seating, tables and lighting, inspired by Guariche’s 1960s designs. The Vallée Blanche Chaise Lounge’s (70 in. W, 70 in. H, 152 in. D and 22 in. seat height) wooden structure is filled with latex foam, upholstered in wool fabric that rests on a metal base. It weighs 52.9 lbs. Galerie M.A.I Sideboard (31.5 in. H, 70.9 in. L, 17.7 in. D) is a stained ash veneered flap, black lacquered metal slide door, MDF structure veneered in stained ash, with a base in solid stained ash. G21 Reading Lamp (14.6 in. L, 46 in. to 64.2 in. H) is a brushed varnished brass pole and black lacquered metal foot, with a lampshade in black or white lacquered aluminum.

!!NEW LOCATION ALERT!!: Laurameroni

Laurameroni is relocating for Salone del Mobile 2024. The Italian furniture company's new stand will unveil the Floral Fusion collection, fusing the floral palette's soft tones with steel, black and anthracite to create a blend of natural beauty and contemporary design. Mixed mediums of woods, carved essences, metals, velvets, leathers and cashmeres intertwine inside the showroom punctuated by Travertine marbles.

Ornare, the international high-end bespoke cabinetry and furniture brand, will open its first showroom in the 18th-century Palazzo Gallarati in Milan during Salone del Mobile. The showroom will showcase the brand's beautiful offerings, including the recently launched Timeless Collection. The collection is made from certified solid wood in various finishes, combined with leather into organic shapes, featuring a closet, beauty bar, desk, island and closet rack.
