National Office Furniture, a unit of Kimball International, Inc., recently expanded its presence by opening a new showroom in Boston. The Grand Opening celebration was held on February 24, 2015, and over 200 guests were in attendance.
Designers, architects, and furniture dealers enjoyed hors d’oeuvres and cocktails while touring the 5,100-square-foot facility. Upon entering the showroom, guests were greeted with an open café area and lounge seating. Two glass office structures showcase the latest in private office vignettes, while the remainder of the showroom reflects today’s open concept work environment with spaces to collaborate, learn, interact, and focus.
Located at the junction of the Financial and Leather Districts, in the Two Financial Center building, the showroom features bold textiles and innovative furniture that mirror the style of Boston. The showroom’s full-height windows allow pedestrians and window shoppers to glimpse in and see the evolution of today’s workspace. National is known for creating spaces where people want to be, and the Boston showroom is an excellent example of this concept.
With the addition of the Boston showroom, National now has eight showrooms across the U.S. and Canada. These regional showrooms feature the latest furniture solutions from National and are tailored for their specific market. Each showroom has a complete resource center filled with product information, price lists, and surface materials.
