The story looks at the new Sandy Hook elementary school in Connecticut and how it integrated nature, community connections and security into its new design. The article was posted online in March and featured in our April print issue.
Janelle Penny, staff writer and author of the story, accepted the award on behalf of Stamats at the 2019 Folio: Eddie and Ozzie Awards Gala on Oct. 30 in New York.
Stamats’ other B2B publications, BUILDINGS and Meetings Today, took home another three Eddie Awards that night, winning all four categories in which they were finalists.
