La Fabbrica’s new large format tile, Cathay 4fine, is produced through a pressing method rather than a compaction process. Tiles produced in this way are more elastic, and therefore less fragile and less subject to breakage when put under stress. Digital printing technology also allows high-definition decorations to be produced directly on the tile’s surface. Cathay 4fine is available in a variety of sizes, and in rectified natural and lappato finishes.
