Fritz Hansen's PK23 chair has a laminated veneer shell, and a double-bracket connector bridges the backrest.

Fritz Hansen’s PK23 chair, designed by the late Poul Kjærholm in 1954 and realized recently for consumers, features wide, low-profile laminated veneer shells for the seat and back in black ash, walnut, or oak. A double-bracket connector bridges the backrest, paired with a stainless steel or black powder-coated base. Merging elements of Kjærholm’s earlier designs, the PK23 embodies his evolving minimalist style. Dimensions: 27.4” H, 29.5” W, 24.4” D. SH 14.2”. Weight: 13 lb.
