The White collection from Artek, created by Design Director Ville Kokkonen, is a line of high-luminosity fluorescent pendant, wall and table lamps. The Bright White 1 table lamp has been medically certified after two years of research. Kokkonen’s goal was to design a light therapy lamp that would work as a permanent piece of furniture. All the pieces work well as they seamlessly blend the light tubes and the thin veneered plywood which acts as an insulator to prevent overheating.
