We used [Humanscale’s Vessel pendants] in a beautiful new contemporary home in Aspen. We were looking for something minimal but elegant that would not compete with the view. All of the LED pendants I found had too much going on—little bubbles or other design elements. I finally found The Vessel—a solid, clean quartz light that was designed to be free of glare so it doesn’t reflect off of surfaces. The light source is hidden and shines straight downward. I have such admiration for Todd Bracher, the designer, for the time and effort he took to design this light.

    1. Staunton by Progress Lighting is inspired by the stacked items found in Parisian boutiques. The fixture’s silhouette offers a signature focal point and is strung with a vintage woven cloth cord. Available in three shapes and colors that can be grouped as a single style or mixed.

    2. The THIN Chandelier from Juniper is a modular 12-arm contemporary interpretation of the traditional chandelier. Each ultra-thin arm contains two hinges that can be articulated to form a series of biomorphic shapes and configurations. The long LED arrays produce a total of 6,500 lumens.

    3. EXTRA is a balancing act between a glowing sphere and a rectangular plane captured before their separation. The optical illusion fixture from FLOS is finished with anodized bronze, anodized graphite, or silver. Uses an LED at 2700K with a CRI of 83.

    4. The Dome Heating Light is a floor lamp from Source Outdoor. It is constructed of commercial grade aluminum with a galvanized steel insert for added weight and powder coated for weather protection. Includes a Bluetooth connection and built-in speakers, two heat settings, and dimming control.
