Studio Dirk VanderKooij has used the transparent plastic of old CDs to create the Fresnel Light. Visible layers are created by a custom-made robot, building a structure that prevents glare and refracts its LED lights. Hung off a steel wire, it resembles an orbiting planet as it rotates around a metal ball center. Available in three sizes (two, three, or four rings).
