Cappellini
’s Meltdown lamp by designer Johan Lindstén features thin, hand-blown colored glass. The luminaire is meant to use something beautiful as a representation of the disastrous nuclear accident that took place in Fukushima, Japan. The diameter of each lamp is 28.5 centimeters and there are two different shape options: linear or grape. Colors are available in gray, rose, tobacco, light blue, amethyst and amber.
