The Fluid Ribbon Chair by Michael D'Amato
The Fluid Ribbon Chair, designed by entrepreneur Michael d’Amato, who built the chair with a split seat to help his brother’s aching back after too many years of sitting in front of a computer. It was featured in two exhibits at Design Philadelphia 2012. Besides this natural bamboo version, Lamberti Design in Salerno, Italy is also offering an aluminum version.
