Cappellini’s Meltdown lamp by Swedish designer Johan Lindstén features thin, hand-blown colored glass. The product is meant to use something beautiful as a representation of the disastrous nuclear accident that took place in Fukushima, Japan. The diameter of each lamp is 285 mm and there are two different shape options: linear or grape. Colors are available in grey, rose, tobacco, light blue, amethyst, and amber.
