Who are you?
Permit me to introduce myself: I am Prince of Green Hides Leather Studio, and I am a prince among leathers—traditional, elegant and bold, come si vede.
Where are you from?
I traveled much when I was young and have the strongest ties to Europe and New Zealand. I spent my formative years in Vicenza, Italy, among family. Molto importante, la famiglia.
Who in your family do you most resemble?
I have two full-grained sisters, Iris and Lena, but my coloring is more dramatic. The hand-applied, two-tone tipping I share with my brother Tango gives us our distinguished, regal profiles.
What are your biggest turn-ons?
Besides the sound people make when they touch me for the first time? My dream is to become the lap of luxury for a beautiful woman … or man. We could stay at home, or we could go out to experience the finest hotels and lounges.
Turn-offs?
The rumors of a certain fetish—non è vero. I
also prefer to avoid sharp objects, like daggers, swords and the ladies’ claws. Keep them away from me, per favore.
How do you lessen your
environmental impact?
I am the fabric of nature, e naturalmente, and I only accept the best. That means choosing tanneries with strict low-emission mineral tanning procedures
and elaborate recycling and water
purification systems in place.
What do you see when you look
in the mirror?
I see a tall, dark and handsome leather. It is true; I measure 50 square feet media, offer nine deep, rich colors, and by all accounts have an elegant demeanor.
