The Ghost Rug from nanimarquina
The Ghost hand knotted rug by Martí Guixé for nanimarquina is 100 percent New Zealand wool and plays with shadows in black and white. The artist breathed new life into the classic Kerman rug by taking its traditionally pictorial motifs of birds, flowers, horses and deer and making them appear and disappear to the eye, like ghosts. The product is set to premiere at Imm Cologne next week.
