Folds Collection from Carnegie

Nov. 3, 2014

Steeped in tradition and whimsy, Carnegie’s Folds collection—Barre seen here—takes traditional shapes of origami folds and reinterprets them with a modern flair. Pops of saturated hues create an illusion that abstracts the geometry of the original inspiration. Novelty yarns were utilized to achieve the dry hand of rice paper allowing the textile to stay true to the design concept.
