Design-savvy options for any budget

If there’s one place people like to feel pampered, it’s in the bathroom. High-end fixtures and finishes go a long way in creating a “wow” factor, and the trend toward spa-like environments is making the restroom a true place of respite. But designers don’t necessarily have to sacrifice aesthetics for price. A variety of beautifully-designed tubs, vanities, and washbasins are available from Duravit at affordable prices. But if luxury is within your budget, Duravit offers elegant, designer-inspired products that are sure to make a bold statement.

Cape Cod
Bathtub: $4,950.00

Just like the washbowl and the bathroom furniture, the Cape Cod bathtub designed by Philippe Starck fuses material and form, creating innovative unity. Thanks to the new Duravit material, DuraSolid, the smallest details of Starck’s design were realized: stunningly thin bathtub rims, organic forms and gentle integrated curves. From the monolithic design to the integrated headrest, Cape Cod offers a continuous satin-finished surface that is also pleasant to the touch. The architectural simplicity of the design is retained in the free standing bathtub as well as the
back-to-wall and left or right corner versions.

DuraStyle
Washbasin: $440.00 | Console Legs: $410.00

Designed by Matteo Thun and first released in 2013, DuraStyle complements both residential and commercial environments with the slim profile of its ceramics and minimal geometry of its furniture. With these items, the company is also highlighting a bi-color option into the mix for the more daring designer who wants to use two different finishes in one piece. Sleek, tall cabinets provide a clean, unobtrusive look that stays in keeping with DuraStyle’s aesthetic. With four or five glass shelves, the cabinets provide generous storage and are available in 11 different furniture finishes, as well as the bi-color option.

Cape Cod
Vanity: $3,825.00 | Washbowl: $695.00

Duravit has paired with its longtime collaborator Philippe Starck for a new collection inspired by the relaxed elegance of New England: Cape Cod. The series is the epitome of luxury, using a creative mix of high-end materials to create sophisticated new bathroom styles. The strikingly unique vanities are the collection’s showpiece. One of four wood finish options (Vintage Oak, American Walnut, European Oak, or White Beech) makes up the counter and rests on a smooth, chrome frame that creates an eye-catching diagonal with the floor. The Vintage Oak finish is especially stunning—each piece of wood maintains a roughly hewn shape that resembles a piece of driftwood found on the beach, making each vanity one-of-a kind. The vanity is also available in White High Gloss with the option of doors and side shelves for additional storage space.

C-Bonded
Washbasin w/ L-Cube: $2,325.00

Using Duravit’s proprietary DuraCeram material, C-Bonded washbasins connect seamlessly to their vanity units, giving the appearance of a single, unified piece. The material thickness of the washbasin is hidden from view, reducing the piece to a purely designed vanity with an unbroken transition between ceramic surface and furniture body. The key to C-Bonded’s success is found in its DuraCeram composition. Duravit specially developed this material to achieve a uniquely slender ceramic that is, at the same time, supremely wear-resistant. Its slim edge enables the ceramic and the furniture to be precisely fitted to form a single unit. The two are mitered together using a patented technique that
achieves the particularly streamlined look.

L-Cube Furniture
Wall-Mounted Vanity: $2,700.00

Designed by Christian Werner, the L-Cube series approaches bathroom design with a modular sensibility, allowing users to implement the furniture as building blocks and create the best layout for their lifestyles. On top of its outstanding functionality, L-Cube features distinct design touches, such as a shadow gap on the fronts and sides of the furniture and an abundance of both traditional and unusual finishes. The endless combinations of unique colors, storage, and furniture options enable a custom bath solution that can be paired with some of Duravit’s latest ceramic introductions. L-Cube’s distinguishing feature is its clean, geometric design which fits a variety of spaces and styles, and will remain timeless in years to come.
