Dornbracht

Sept. 1, 2016

Design-savvy options for any budget

Established in 1950, Dornbracht is known for its ability to elevate kitchen and bathroom fixtures from supporting character to lead actor in the space. Priding itself on a long family history of creating faucets for an international market by maintaining the adage that change is an opportunity rather than hindrance, Dornbracht maintains its headquarters in its original location of Iserlohn, Germany.'

While typically known for its high-end wares, they have expanded to include some more affordable goods without sacrificing quality. Here we highlighted a few of our favorites that are perfect for any project price point.

$
Lissé
Starting at $553

Playing off of the juxtaposition of bold lines and sweeping curves, the Lissé fixture is soft, yet modern. The flowing design of the fixture allows it to live up to its name—French for “smoothed”—while the single-lever faucet is compact, making it easy to fit into any space. Available for delivery as of July, the Lissé is also available in a water-saving variant.

Supernova
Starting at $1,128

The angular precision of the Supernova collection blends the aesthetic of cut crystal with dynamic architecture, creating a faucet which fits into any space. Designed by Sieger Design, and winner of the iF product design and Good Design awards, the faucet’s facets and high-shine finish give it a special radiance.

CL-1
Polished Chrome Finish: $2,132

CL-1 takes traditional Dornbracht forms to the next level with its swan-like silhouette. Matched with four unique handle options and available in a variety of spout heights, the CL-1 is a chameleon able to combine with other series. It comes in either deck- or wall-mounted versions and features a spray pattern with 40 individual streams.

Pivot
Cyprum finish: $3,055

The Pivot’s unique 360-degree radius increases its usefulness in the kitchen, allowing it to swivel to where it’s needed. The sleek, minimalist design makes it an eye-catching focal point. With a total height of 14 5/8 inches and a 21 ¾ inches projection, it can take on any task.

Sync
