Strand from Vives

Interestingly, plywood and particle boards are finding their way into interiors in a more permanent manner than you’d expect. While this trend is new in the states, Spanish company Vives already has a collection of ceramic look-alikes that not only withstand wear and tear in ways that the original can’t, but it offers a no-slip surface. Available as 60 x 60 cm tiles, Strand—part of their Resort collection—is available “natural”-appearing, or with a variety of colorful lines printed atop.
