The Des Moines Register released its list of Iowa’s 2018 Top Workplaces and i+s was excited to see local workplace furnishing manufacturer Allsteel Inc. honored as a winner.
The Top Workplaces list is determined by employee feedback gathered through a third-party survey administered by research partner Energage. The anonymous survey measures several aspects of workplace culture, including alignment, execution and connection.
More than Recognition for Allsteel
“Top Workplaces is more than just recognition,” said Doug Claffey, CEO of Energage. “Our research shows organizations that earn the award attract better talent, experience lower turnover and are better equipped to deliver bottom-line results. Their leaders prioritize and carefully craft a healthy workplace culture that supports employee engagement."
“We are honored to be named one of Iowa’s Top Workplaces once again,” said Brandon Sieben, president of Allsteel Inc. “Our commitment to our member-owner culture is what drives us. With an award based on employee feedback, it is gratifying to hear that we have created a rewarding community that is recognized by the state of Iowa.”
“Becoming a Top Workplace isn’t something organizations can buy,” Claffey said. “It’s an achievement organizations have worked for and a distinction that gives them a competitive advantage.” This is the second year in a row in which Allsteel has received the Top Workplace Award.
Allsteel employs 218 people regionally from its headquarters in Muscatine, Iowa – just a quick drive over from interiors+sources’ headquarters in Cedar Rapids, Iowa.
