Located within BrewDog’s U.S. brewery in Columbus, OH, is the country’s first crowdfunded hotel. The 32-room DogHouse, which features amenities like a beer fridge built right into the shower for those sudsy sips and views down onto the brewery floor, secured $300k during the fundraising campaign; a whopping four times more than their original goal.

Richmond, VA

A shining beacon of Richmond, Virginia’s revitalized Art and Cultural and Commercial Historic districts is the redesigned Quirk Hotel. The 60,000-square-foot landmark was originally built in 1916, and the remodel has kept that southern charm—complete with an iron staircase crawling up the restaurant wall—while adding contemporary elements and color pallet. Its latest location, Under Canvas Grand Canyon in Valle, AZ, takes the design one step further by collaborating with West Elm on the location’s lobby tent. Using an eclectic mix of furniture, accessories and décor against the Grand Canyon’s majestic backdrop, the lobby tent provides a communal retreat. Serafina Beach Hotel

San Juan, Puerto Rico

Opened in March 2018, the Serafina Beach Hotel was the first new hotel in Puerto Rico following the September 2017 devastation of Hurricane Maria. Hutton Hotel

Nashville, TN

Blending southern hospitality and Nashville’s love of music, the four-star Hutton Hotel reopened in December 2017 as one of the best hotels for performers—both experienced and novice. Designed as a hot-spot for musicians, the Hutton Hotel boasts an entertainment venue and writers’ room — created in partnership with country recording artist Dierks Bentley and singer-songwriter Ryan Tedder — on top of the guest suites.
