HBF Textiles′ Crumpled Paper, designed by Mary Jo Miller, is a 100% postconsumer recycled polyester that is also 91–93% biodegradable in a landfill. The artistic textile pattern and its name come from crumpling different paper thicknesses to reach an optimum combination of shadow and light. This large-scale random repeat design comes in 5 paper-inspired colorways: Parchment, Waxed Paper, Kraft Paper, Rice Paper, and Newspaper.

Lauren Brant is Staff Writer for both interiors+sources and BUILDINGS. She is an award-winning editor and reporter whose work has appeared in daily and weekly newspapers. In 2020, the weekly newspaper won the Rhoades Family Weekly Print Sweepstakes—the division winner across the state's weekly newspapers.
