The Symphonic collection by Brentano was inspired by Design Director Iris Wang’s time spent teaching art to children. She would play music and ask them to illustrate the sounds of melodies, moving her to focus the company’s spring 2013 collection on classical music. The line emphasizes the sensations people feel from this music, rather than form, and offers 19 romantic patterns.
