Deconstructed Rose is a traditional floral needlepoint transformed through a modern, pixilated scale by Maharam. Densely woven in an opulent old-world construction on an eight-color tapestry warp with a half-width repeat, Deconstructed Rose uses a range of weave structures, including a long-stepped basket and a heavy rib weave, to create texture and dimension. This magnified scale reveals the technique of mixing color as side-by-side yarns, resulting in hues such as rich olive, citrine, sienna, and madder. It comes in a 55”/140 cm width, three colors and is 65 percent polyester, 32 percent cotton, and 3 percent rayon.
