Robert Allen’s new collection, Williamsburg Classics II, is a re-interpretation of historic Americana. The patterns are reinventions of motifs popular in Colonial homes and the fashions of early American society, from lace caps to pottery, dishware and copper-plate engravings. Bold colors offer up a palette that gives the collection an Asian flair. All prints feature 100 percent linen grounds and wovens are appropriate for heavier upholstery projects.
