Debuted this past March at the Architectural Digest Design Show in New York City, the glass artist’s assortment of hand-blown glass bottles and swirled cups are a welcoming addition to her already wide array of glassworks that includes chandeliers, table and floor lamps, wall scones, vases, and more.
Glover honed her craft in a 13th century Belgian convent’s crystal factory and Dale Chihuly’s Pilchuck School, where Venetian maestri-in-residence mentored her.
She uses traditional Italian techniques to craft her exuberant designs, each of which is uniquely hand-blown to order in her Pawtucket, RI. studio. Depending on her clients’ input and elements used, her work can be anywhere from quietly tasteful and stately to dramatic or whimsical.
As donations have since closed for the disaster-relief initiative, Glover now donates the proceeds to the Environmental Defense Action Fund, which supports legislation that’s essential to environmental protection.
