Arquitectura e Interiores, the largest interior design and construction firm in Colombia, today announced that they had won the IIDA (International Interior Design Association) Best Interiors of Latin America Design Competition in the Corporate Large Space category with their project for JWT in Bogota. The IIDA competition was created to recognize, honor and celebrate outstanding projects that represent the highest level of creativity, originality and design excellence from Latin America.
“This is an extraordinary achievement for our company as we are the first Colombian company to ever win this prize. It is the recognition of the outstanding work that our team executed on this project,” says Marta Gallo, a director at Arquitectura e Interiores.
Arquitectura e Interiores’ project was selected among 100 entries submitted by firms from Mexico, Central and South America.
“The outstanding caliber of submissions to the IIDA Latin America competition stands as a testament to the fact that high design is thriving in that region of the world. This year’s entries were highly creative, culturally appropriate and displayed a considerable degree of innovation,” states Jaime Velez, FIIDA, speaking on behalf of the panel of judges.
