SAN FRANCISCO – San Francisco-based Rapt Studio has announced the promotion of Cory Sistrunk to president. As president, Sistrunk will be responsible for shaping strategy and overseeing key projects in the corporate and commercial markets, continuing Rapt’s pattern of rapid growth by securing new business opportunities and partnerships, and leading the branding, design, and consulting practice across the company’s San Francisco, Los Angeles, and Delhi offices.

“As an invaluable member of Rapt for years, Cory sees design through a broad lens,” says David Galullo, CEO and design principal of Rapt Studio, which counts Google, Adobe, VF Corp. and others as clients. “He has helped us build connections through a variety of design mediums, and has helped Rapt Studio become an industry leader. A devotee of bringing people together not only at Rapt but also in his community, Cory will play an all-critical role in executing our vision.”

Before joining Rapt, Cory led the creative direction and branding efforts at worldwide home automation giant, Vivint. He also founded his own practice, DLXE, Inc. developing powerful brand expressions for a number of companies, including Rapt.

"I am grateful and honored to be a part of this company,” says Sistrunk. “While we’ve made a lot of progress, I believe we’ve only accomplished a small part of our long-term vision to create the types of experiences that connect people and turn brands into movements. I’m excited for what’s ahead, and I’m committed to continue assembling the best talent in the world and building the strategic partnerships to help us keep moving forward.”
