Remember your days as a child swinging in the park or speeding down a slide? In Haifa, Israel, designer and architect Noa Haim has taken it to a new level.
A collaboration between Haim and the Haifa City Museums and Haifa Downtown Municipality helped children construct cardboard pyramids. The creations can be fold/ unfold/ construct/ re-construct in multiple places and scales.
Haim has been operating this design initiative since 2008, entitled Collective Paper Aesthetics. In collaboration with museums, science centres, cultural and educational organizations, Haim has developed a collection of participatory construction toys and hands-on public/private furnishing with the motto—everyone can play a designer.
