Configura, maker of CET Designer software, announced the winners of the seventh annual Best of CET Designer Awards, a competition honoring best uses of the space-planning software used throughout the world by commercial interior designers, salespeople, and facility planners. A record number of submissions were received this year, including 32 submissions in the Best Success Story category, where entrants showed how CET Designer resulted in major project wins with customers.
“We had a huge number of incredible submissions to review,” said Kendra Steinhaus, a support and training specialist and interior designer with Configura. “The top entries especially had great stories of how CET Designer helped them to win major projects. From start to finish, the designers showed how CET Designer made their work seamless for their customers.”
Fast and accurate renderings and bills of material sealed the deal for all three users’ projects.
Best Success Story
Isela Cadena, a designer with Haworth by Papsa in Mexico, received first place in the Best Success Story category. As the first-place winner, Cadena will receive a trip for two to Configura’s headquarters in Sweden. Cadena also won top honors in the Rendering category.
Cadena was challenged to design and specify furnishings for a 13,500-square-foot corporate headquarters.
“CET Designer helped me from the beginning until the last step to close the deal,” Cadena said. “Using this solution can give you a huge advantage. The all-in-one tools [built into CET Designer] work really well together. The key for this project was time, and I had all of the tools to have a fast answer for my client’s needs. Specifically, the rendering capabilities are amazing, and the time you spend to produce a beautiful rendering is amazingly short.”

Details of the eighth annual CET Designer User Conference and Best of CET Designer Awards Program will be announced in early 2015.
