GOAWAY! Best of Workplace exhibit was created by Quadrangle as a way to conceptualize what the future of the workplace could look like. They partnered with workplace thought leaders Haworth, Keilhauer, Steelcase, and Teknion and others to create a feature that promises to engage all five senses on an activated show floor.

“No one really knows what the future workplace will be but it will be everywhere. Constantly changing, GOAWAY! will challenge preconceptions of what makes a workplace” said Caroline Robbie, principal at Quadrangle Architects.

“The office is a selling point companies need to consider to attract the best talent,” added Johane Deignan, IIDEXCanada director of marketing, conference, and sponsorship. “Clients will be looking to designers for guidance and expertise on the latest research, case studies, and trends.”

All events on the show floor are free for attendees with their badge. These include: Canada House, featuring highlights from some of the of Canadian products that went into the expansion and heritage renewal of Canada House, home to the Canadian High Commission in London; 2016 and Beyond: State of the Industry panel; the awards presentation for the winners of the inaugural ArchDaily + IIDEXCanada Virtual Spaces Competition, followed by an in-booth demonstration of those unique and un-built virtual reality spaces; awards ceremonies for the Air Canada enRoute Hotel Design awards, Canadian Interiors Best of Canada Design Competition and the 2015 Canadian Architect Awards of Excellence.
