The Gettys Group Looks Back on a Milestone Year with Exciting Initiatives for 2016

The hospitality design and consulting firm welcomes the new year with new projects and redesigned website

Last year was highly prolific for the Gettys Group, a leader in the hospitality industry. With its blend of ingenuity and initiative, the firm completed more than 100 hotel projects last year, translating to approximately 25,000 guestrooms and countless public spaces, all designed for travelers to make a thoughtful, authentic connection to their destination.

“We celebrated many successes in 2015,” said Chairman and Chief Executive Officer Roger Hill. “Our global reach was further established through innovative projects that showcased our firm’s forward-thinking approach, energetic attitude and dedication to creating unforgettable moments.”

Working fluidly between its four business groups (interior design, consulting, branding, and procurement) Gettys contributed its knowledge to a number of high-profile projects. The AC Hotel, the Motor Club - Hampton Inn and the Renaissance Hotel in the firm’s hometown of Chicago were all completed in 2015, as well as the Cordis Hong Kong at Langham Place, the Wyndham Lake Buena Vista in Orlando, the Hotel RL in Baltimore and the Charmant in LaCrosse, Wisc.

With offices in Miami, Hong Kong, Manila, Jeddah, and Dubai, in addition to its Chicago headquarters, the Gettys Group is globally positioned to shape hospitality trends around the world. This multicultural sensibility is illustrated in its national and international projects such as the Hard Rock Punta Cana and the Peninsula Hong Kong, as well as the upcoming LondonHouse in Chicago, the Godfrey Boston, Autograph Playa Largo in Key Largo, Fla., and the Olaya Hotel in Saudi Arabia.
