Shining light on healthcare design in the Sunshine State

    March 29, 2016

At the end of February, interiors+sources and nGage Events kicked off our third annual Design Connections Healthcare week in Ponte Vedra Beach, Fla. Designers and manufacturers from around the country met in the sunny, beachside location to discuss the latest in healthcare design, spanning from new technologies to mental health and dealing with the issues of an aging population.

Along with the CEU-accredited panel discussions, Design Connections gives the invaluable experience of one-on-one meetings between various industry professionals, as well as small group discussions for manufacturers to connect with designers to help foster conversation within the industry.

Of course, work is no fun without a bit of play. Tuesday night, attendees participated in a guacamole and salsa preparing competition, putting their rapid-fire ingenuity to the test. Wednesday night hosted the annual awards ceremony and illusionist show.

A major thank you to our keynote speaker, Whitney Bowman-Zatzkin (MPA, MSR), director of Flip the Clinic, and our premier partner, DuPont Surfaces, for all of your work to help us present an informative and fun week, and to the attendees, without whom Design Connections wouldn't be possible.
