Christoph Trappe: Hello, everyone. It’s Christoph Trappe, chief content officer at interiors+sources. I’m still here at HD Expo, now I’m joined by Ali McKinney with the Delta Faucet Company. Ally, thanks for joining us.
Ali McKinney: Thank you. Welcome.
Christoph: So, you shared a very interesting trend with us just now, taking a tour of the booth. Walk me through what’s going on.
Ali: Sure. Some of the latest trends have really been focusing on kind of that matte black or darker finish trend versus historically has been chrome, chrome, chrome. So, we are willing to come out and launch a new finish called “Luxe Steel” in our Brio, our luxury brand as well as “Black Stainless” in our Delta brand.
So, you can kind of get that matte black finish trend, but now you don’t have to worry about the durability over time with this new finish. It is PVD, so it is the most durable finish on the market today. And you can hit on that trend and be safe in peace of mind.
Christoph: So, basically, oversimplifying here, people wanted a different color. You found a way to make it more durable?
Ali: 100 percent. You nailed it.
