Winners Named for Best of NeoCon 2025
NeoCon 2025 opened on a high note Monday, June 9, with the 35th annual Best of NeoCon Awards ceremony at THE MART, spotlighting the year’s most forward-thinking commercial interior design products. A NeoCon mainstay since 1990, the program recognizes groundbreaking solutions across the workplace, healthcare, education, retail, and hospitality sectors.
This year, 96 awards were presented across more than 40 categories, with honors for Gold, Silver, Innovation, Sustainability, and Business Impact. The event’s highest distinction, Best of Competition, was awarded to HALCON for its ASTORIA collection—an elevated line of conference and mobile communal tables designed for today’s evolving workplaces.
“Elegance is the key word when it comes to ASTORIA,” noted the jury. “Here, you will not be sacrificing design for functionality.”
The jury praised ASTORIA’s sculptural bases, refined materials, concealed casters, and seamless integration of technology. Offering a wide range of configurations, ASTORIA was also honored with Gold Awards in three categories: Collections for Collaboration, Tables: Café, and Tables: Conference. Finalists for Best of Competition included Davis Furniture’s JeLa Guest, Extremis’s Panigiri, Isomi’s Knit One, and Keilhauer’s Unifi.
A Jury of Experts
The 2025 jury included 42 multidisciplinary professionals—architects, designers, specifiers, enterprise clients, and facility managers from leading organizations such as Gensler, Corgan, CannonDesign, Marmon Mok, Shepley Bulfinch, Aflac, and Walgreens—who reviewed submissions onsite across the show floors. A separate panel of eight business journalists and two facility managers judged the Business Impact Awards.
“The jurors were incredibly thoughtful and rigorous in their evaluations,” said Eileen McMorrow, Director of Best of NeoCon. “The winning products are not only aligned with key trends—they're shaping the future. From circularity and neuro-inclusive thinking to AI and material innovation, we saw bold, empathetic, and forward-looking design.”
