The November IG Takeover: CRÈME Architecture & Design

Nov. 29, 2023
Get to know founder Jun Aizaki and learn how you can host a takeover of your own.

Last month, we (and more importantly, all of you, our readers and followers) were able to get to know Jun Aizaki a little bit better, as the founder of CRÈME hosted a takeover of our Instagram account @iandsdesign. You can view the full story series under our highlights at the top of our page.

CRÈME develops completely one-of-a-kind hospitality concepts for major brands like Sheraton and Park Hyatt as well as specialty, boutique F&B like Little Banchan Shop in Long Island City, New York and speculative projects like The Timber Bridge at LongPoint Corridor (also NYC), a floating passageway for pedestrians, visitors and bikers.

But Aizaki also introduced us to a more personal side to him, bringing followers into his home and opening up about his own drivers and passions, sharing images of the beautiful ceramics he creates as well as The Gourd Project—an initiative of the firm’s where actual gourds are grown using molds to make functional shapes like cups and vases to avoid using paper or plastic-based cups. To learn more, visit: https://www.thegourdproject.com/

“In my leisure time, creating ceramics is something that helps refresh my creative outlook and fosters new ideas!” he shared.
