Mold Awareness = Moisture Control online course has been updated so that AIA (American Institute of Architects) members will receive one continuing education system (CES) health, safety and welfare (HSW) learning unit upon completion. Designed to educate on preventing mold during the construction process, the course includes the following lessons: mold overview; building design, materials and systems; construction/ controlling moisture; construction schedule and sequence; building operation and maintenance; conclusion; summary; assessment and glossary.

Turner Construction Co. recently became an AIA/CES registered provider when the company partnered with the U.S. Green Building Council (USGBC) to release a three-and-a-half-hour Web-based course entitled, Essentials of LEED® (Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design) Professional Accreditation—the first online course designed to help professionals prepare for the LEED Professional Accreditation exam. AIA members will receive 3.5 CES learning units upon completion of this course, which is available though the USGBC Web site,
