ASID Foundation Raises More Than $85,000

June 1, 2007

The American Society of Interior Designers Foundation reported that its second annual fundraiser, "Jubilation 07," raised more than $85,000. The "Fire & Ice" themed benefit was a highlight at INTERIORS 07: the ASID Conference on Design. Donations were secured through a profitable silent auction and an entertaining live auction. Guests were encouraged to bid on stays at luxurious vacation homes and worldclass resorts, wonderful furniture and accessories, autographed books by esteemed interior designers and architects, beautiful works of art, and much more-all donated by ASID Industry Partners, Chapters and Foundation supporters. The monies raised during Jubilation 07 will help advance the Foundation's mission: to support endeavors that capture and disseminate knowledge, encourage innovation, and benefit the health, safety, and welfare of the public through interior design research, scholarships and education.
