Museum Re-enacts History’s Heroism
At the Medal of Honor Museum the heroism of medal recipients leaps from displays and comes to life. Located aboard the USS Yorktown in Mt. Pleasant, SC, the space is packed with audiovisual stories about acts of valor. Eleven-foot towers of opaque glass play riveting stories at the touch of a hand. A sensor chip-activated tunnel stuns visitors with sounds and pictures recreating the din of pitched combat.

The cornerstone of the Renaissance Project is a new eight-story, 225,000-square-foot patient care addition.
