Manufacturer Announces Scholarship Winners

Holland, MI - Haworth Inc. recently announced 27 college scholarships and awards worth more than $50,000. The annual awards were granted to students whose parents work for the company and exemplify Haworth's commitment to continuing education. 

Scholarships and recipients:

  • G. W. Haworth Scholarship - Justin Hook
  • Gerald B. Johanneson Scholarship - Brian Dornbos  
  • Haworth Scholarship - Kayla Borgman, Grace Burkheimer, Molly Marcusse and Peter Van Heest, Lea Chandonnet, Joshua Fik, William Gibbons, Kristen Gietzen, Erich Himebaugh, Jacob Lampen, Jakob Lang, Julie Leifer, Ashton Lutz, Sara Munger, Amanda Powell, Emily Resseguie, Brian Rudy, Ashley Schmidt, Anna Timmerman , Jillian Van Vonderen and Stephanie Vander Heide  

In addition to awarding scholarships, a skilled trades award and diversity awards were presented to the following seniors who graduated from schools within the local community:

  • Haworth Skilled Trades Award - Travis Stevens 
  • Haworth Diversity Award - Julie Chau, Kiely King and Sammy Ta

Recipients were selected by an independent scholarship selection committee through an application process.
