Sept. 5, 2007

Los Angeles - Studio Lilica, a design studio specializing in architectural lighting and fabric sculpture, has been selected for the Pasadena Museum of California Art's California Design Biennial 2007. The juried exhibition is a survey of the most innovative design produced in California over the past two years and will include Studio Lilica's Astro and Ganesha mobile sculptures as well as the innovative Petals Ceiling Treatment.

The California Design Biennial, which debuted in 2003, showcases excellence and innovation in the field of design and raises awareness of California's role as an international design center. The exhibit features new directions in design and explores the way design impacts and inspires everyday life. Some of the selections from previous shows include products and designs from Apple, Mitsubishi, Samsung and Frank Gehry.

Selected by a jury of renowned design professionals, the exhibition spotlights the best of California fashion, furniture, transportation, consumer products, and graphic design.
