Glass Courtyard a ‘Living Organism’

The Jewish Museum Berlin has added another architectural attraction with the completion of a glass-and-steel courtyard designed by architect Daniel Libeskind. A transparent roof covers the 6,480-square-foot space with convoluted glass façades that mirror the sky and trees of the museum’s garden, creating what the architect likens to a “living organism.”
