Museum Takes the LEEDThe Provincetown Art Association and Museum is a canvas of sustainable, modern, and historic elements. Bioscience Center Shapes Up
At the Lasry Center for Bioscience it’s hip not to be square: The 50,000-square-foot state-of-the-art teaching and research building is triangle-shaped to achieve maximum southern exposure. Metal shades over windows act as “eyebrows” to deflect sun and heat from the interior during warmer months and reflect heat indoors during cooler months.
