KI Brings Food Network Chef to Cleveland and Features Local Artists in LA

Feb. 19, 2008

GREEN BAY, WI - KI joined with business solutions firm Bill Thomason and Associates (BTA) to cook up a winter culinary event in the kitchen of Michael Symon's American bistro, Lolita, in Cleveland.

Symon, winner on the Food Network's Iron Chef America series, gave a cooking demonstration to participants from 15 A&D firms. The evening included a five course meal paired with wines, as guests learned how to make Symon's famous mac and cheese, crùme brêlée, and butternut squash.

In another networking event that targeted the A&D community, KI and Pallas® Textiles hosted the fifth annual Moonlight Madness. Moonlight Madness featured hand-crafted artwork by artists from the Los Angeles interior design community at the KI Century Showroom in Los Angeles. Artwork included jewelry, ceramics, sculpture, photography and paintings. Guests enjoyed drinks, hors d'oeuvres and entertainment.

"These events are great opportunities for professionals in the A&D community to meet and network with one another," says Norman Nance, IIDA, LEED AP, vice president-marketing, A&D and environmental initiatives, KI. "We continually seek special activities that appeal to A&D guests and look forward to hosting similar events throughout 2008."
