Annual Recycling Effort to Benefit Design Students/Schools in New York City

SpecSimple.com's ninth annual Save-a-Sample! Box-a-Thon will take place from April 15 - 17, 2008 in New York City.

Supported by AIA, ASID, IIDA, SMPS and the USGBC, Save-a-Sample! is the industry's way of creating a "second life" for unused brochures, fabrics and finish cards. 

Over the years, New York's busiest design firms have donated thousands of pounds of materials and raised more than $10,000 annually to support local design students.

Participating furniture dealers provide the "wheels" to get donated materials delivered to New York area design schools so talented students have a richer set of resources to choose from during the year.
