Designing the NeoCon Experience

April 8, 2008

INDIANAPOLIS - OFCDesk, LLC invites interior design professionals and students from around the world to participate in the first ever OFCDesk design competition: Real-Time Office Spaces: Designing the NeoCon® Experience. All participants are called to create a unique office layout using OFCDesk's Interior Design CAD (IDC) along with Steelcase products to showcase the features, flexibility and ease of use of IDC within a limited floor space, using set guidelines and restrictions.

OFCDesk IDC is commercial interior design CAD software that features industry-specific design tools for office layout, auditorium, movable storage, and general space planning. OFCDesk will be exhibiting at the 2008 NeoCon World's Trade Fair, June 9 through June 11. In order to demonstrate the software's capabilities in a manner that is easy-to-understand and relevant to the NeoCon audience, OFCDesk intends to display a real-time construction of the winning office layout at their booth while simultaneously displaying computer models of the original design on monitors throughout the exhibit.

Contest participants should design an exhibit resembling an office layout that is interactive as well as realistic to fit a 20-foot by 11-foot booth space which engages passers-by, invites them into the space, and solves the primary function of the space. The contest will run from April 1st through April 25th.

Prizes
One chosen finalist will have their design manufactured and displayed at NeoCon 2008 as the OFCDesk exhibit, and will also receive one seat (license) for the IDC 2008 AutoCAD® Add-On Module.
