Building and Designing a Blueprint for Success

The consolidation of NSCA's Systems Integration Expo® into InfoComm's annual trade show will save professionals time and money by offering everything they need under one big roof. NSCA's full slate of educational courses, in addition to many popular Expo events and activities, will debut at InfoComm 08 in Las Vegas June 14-20.

At NSCA Zone, attendees can find key support and innovative approaches to make work easier and more efficient. NSCA and its partners can explain what they're doing to make jobs more profitable.

Why Should Architects Join NSCA at InfoComm?
With attendance expected to top 35,000, the show provides a venue to meet and network with systems integrators, manufacturers, and design consultants. Architects can get to know people who can help them build and grow their businesses.

Education
NSCA University™, well known for its high-quality, professional education, will offer training and education during InfoComm 08. All courses are designed to help industry professionals solve problems, save time, and make money: Operation Best Practices for Project Managers; Project Risk Management: You Bid It, Now Build It; and Eight Steps to Increased Profitability.

CSI MasterFormat™
At the NSCA Zone, staff members can answer questions about the Construction Specifications Institute's (CSI) MasterFormat 04. Just as the Dewey Decimal System enables libraries to categorize and sort, CSI MasterFormat provides uniform definitions and guidelines for all those working in the construction industry.

Architects can also find a qualified systems integrator or design consultant in their area at the NSCA Zone. Qualified systems professionals—involved at the start of projects—help ensure client satisfaction by providing proper design and installation. Using MasterFormat 04 will ensure all systems and processes are indentified, including aspects that may have been overlooked in a prior project, ensuring a seamless and smooth operation.

NSCA Events
The NSCA Education Foundation will host the Systems Integration Industry Charity Golf Tournament on June 17 at Rhodes Ranch Golf Course in Las Vegas. Later that night is the ExpoJam. From 9-11 p.m. on June 18 is a concert by the Drunk Unkles, a band comprised of industry members. The Unks will make their debut appearance at InfoComm and rock the house during a concert to benefit industry education.
